The Brasserie is the Tits

We went to the Brasserie last night to get Joel’s 500th unique beer check in on untapped.  To be honest it is probably his 3000th unique craft beer if he had started counting back before the app was around. But alas, he started last year.

Anyway, we headed over to T5 to take a peak at our space, hit up Costco and check out the Brasserie that we have heard so much about. It was wonderful! We fell in love with Rose (the bartendress) first. She is bright and sweet and just the right amount of “darlings” and “mamas” to make you feel special.

While there we made a point to flag down the owners.  It is a mother daughter duo that seems like a perfect combo of experience, passion, kindness and drive that a business needs.  If you have not been there yet GO VISIT THE BRASSERIE!!!!  P.S. It is “Braz-uh-ree” and that is what many pubs/bistros are called all over the world.  We just don’t have many around here. You can get Coffee and  breakfast in the morning and a beer and dinner at night! One stop shop. 🙂

We also talked to them about working together on things.  If they have a brewery there to do a tasting we could have another one at ours and the winery next door could have a winery tasting. It could (and will be) awesome!!! Now I just need to research the legality of tastings at our shop.

Also! They also brought up some good points about our contract. We have to see if our lease says anything about how many days of the week we have to be open (since we have toyed with the idea of closing Mondays).  And they also said that our exterior sign may have some limitations.

Cheers!!!

  1. Every time our liquor does a big tasting no event there is always food . Usually catering from some place . I’d assume you’d have to do something if you do an event. Meet and cheese boards seem to be the rage I guess cause they are easy
